The Department of electrical and electronics engineering of Annai Teresa Engineering college was started in the year . The Main objective of the department is to lay a foundation for students who are in the progress of pursuing a career in the field of electrical and electronics engineering.

The Department has well qualified and highly experienced faculties along with Industrial experts who has real time expertise in the associated fields.Students are encouraged to participate in seminars and in inter-college symposiums. 

The Students are encouraged to work on innovative projects. The Department staffs  supports and guides the students to reach their goals in the projects. The department always encourages the students in innovative projects which increases their creativity and confidence.

The Infrastructure of the department is set to national standards. The department has more than 6 labs in place. More over the department sharpen the practical skills of the students via industrial visits and guest lectures which makes them employable.
